Divorce and Parenting Plans
Parents facing divorce are entering one of life's most
stressful experiences. Minimizing the
emotional damage to family members is one of the most complex and arduous
challenges parents can encounter.
Montana Mediators has been helping parents transform their relationship
from one of emotional and romantic expectations to the extremely important
business relationship of raising their children in the best possible
circumstance.
Helping the children through the psychological tasks of divorce
can only be accomplished when each parent makes a commitment to communicate
with family members, children and the other parent in the most respectful way
possible. Mediators perform many
functions in this process – communication coach, agent of reality, resource
advisor, and, most importantly, helping parents develop a system that allows
them to negotiate with one another for the rest of their parenting lives.
For twenty years, Montana Mediators has helped families move
on with their lives in the most dignified way possible. We guide parents through all aspects of shared
parenting and help them create parenting plans that are flexible enough to
evolve as the parties change. We work
with other professionals - attorneys,
accountants and counselors to create two
homes where children can continue to love and cherish their relationship with
each parent. Judges know that a plan
that parents create together is much likelier to succeed than any ruling in a
courtroom.
